Preschool Coming to 2nd Avenue
We’re excited to be opening the doors to Kaleidoscope Childcare Centre’s second location at 33345 2nd Avenue in Mission.
For many local families, this building is already a familiar part of the community. For years, it has been a place where children learned, played, and built lasting memories. We’re thrilled to bring new life to this well-loved space and continue its tradition as a place where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
This fall, the 2nd Avenue location will be home to our Extended Day Preschool Program, offering families more flexibility and children more time for meaningful learning and connection.
Preschool That Fits Your Family’s Schedule
We understand that every family’s needs are different.
That’s why our Extended Day Preschool offers flexible attendance options and a longer preschool day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Families can choose from:
- 2 Days Per Week (Tuesday & Thursday)
- 3 Days Per Week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
- 5 Days Per Week (Monday through Friday)
Whether you’re looking for a gentle introduction to preschool or a more consistent weekly routine, our program provides flexibility while maintaining a high-quality early learning experience.

Our Extended Day Preschool gives children the opportunity to fully engage in their learning experiences without feeling rushed. Through play, exploration, creativity, outdoor experiences, and meaningful relationships, children develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and a strong sense of self.

Meet Ms. Tammy
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Tammy as the Childcare Manager at our 2nd Avenue location.
Tammy is well known and highly respected within the local early learning community, bringing many years of experience in early childhood education to her role. She holds both her Early Childhood Education Certificate and a Montessori Diploma, combining strong professional knowledge with a genuine passion for supporting children and families.
At the heart of Tammy’s approach is a commitment to inclusive childcare. She believes every child deserves to feel welcomed, understood, and supported, and she works closely with children, families, and educators to ensure each child’s unique strengths and needs are recognized.
If you’ve ever met Tammy, you’ll know she brings incredible warmth and energy wherever she goes. Known for her positive attitude and love of music, she creates opportunities for children to connect, learn, laugh, and build confidence every day.
As Childcare Manager, Tammy provides leadership and support throughout the centre, helping educators create engaging learning experiences while fostering a caring, inclusive environment where children can thrive.
We are grateful to have her expertise, enthusiasm, and leadership guiding this exciting new chapter for Kaleidoscope.
