Home Share & Respite Contractors

Meaningful work, making a difference.

Contracting Opportunities

MACL is seeking independent contractors in the Mission area to open their homes to adults, children, or teens we support.

Respite Caregivers provide short-term care for a few days each month, giving families a much needed break. Home Share Caregivers offer longer-term, full-time placements.

Beyond providing a safe and welcoming home, Home Share Caregivers build meaningful relationships and help individuals engage in the community, providing support in work, recreation, and personal interests.

Become a Home Share or Respite Contractor

MACL’s home share and respite contractors understand that opening their home is a lifestyle choice, not a traditional job. There is no fixed eight hour shift, care is integrated into daily life. All family members must be open to changes that come with sharing their home. Our contractors provide safe, welcoming homes that meet all applicable safety standards.
