
12 Days of Wellness
At MACL, the people we support are at the heart of everything we do and our staff play a vital role in making that support possible every day. Their dedication, compassion, and hard work make a meaningful difference, which is why we believe staff wellness is so important. Earlier this month, we were excited to host our 12 Days of Wellness initiative for staff.
Throughout the 12 Days of Wellness, staff were encouraged to complete a daily wellness activity from a wellness checklist. Staff were encouraged to take part in these activities as a way to prioritize self-care throughout the hectic holiday season. Some activities included completing burpees, taking a walk, or jumping rope.
Each day, staff who completed the wellness activity were entered to win a daily prize, adding a fun and motivating element to the challenge. Staff who completed all 12 days were also entered into a draw for a grand prize a $500 WestJet gift card!
Daily prizes included a variety of wellness-focused and feel-good items such as:

- Samsung Galaxy Fit 3
- Stanley tumbler
- Wild Orange Spa gift card
- Sunrise alarm clock
- And many more!
The 12 Days of Wellness was our way of saying thank you, thank you for the care, commitment, and energy our staff bring to their roles and to the people and families we support. Initiatives like this reflect MACL’s ongoing commitment to staff wellness and appreciation, and we’re proud to create opportunities that prioritize balance, connection, and well-being.
